Windows 7 Blue Screen Error - How to Fix It

The delivery man had just dropped off my brand new computer. I have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of my new PC. I unpacked the box and set it up. I press the power button and my new computer comes to life. I go through the setup process and download the latest Windows updates. My computer restarts itself and greets me with a window 7 blue screen of death.

Well isn’t that just great. You would think Microsoft would get their act together by now. I shut it down and restart it again this time it starts up normally. The first thing I do is install my registry repair software. I run it not expecting to find anything, since I have not loaded any software on my brand new computer yet. Well I was wrong, 127 errors.

I backup the original registry just in case and run the repair option. This completely solved my problem and I have not had another episode of the Windows 7 blue screen error. In fact it has been several months now and my computer has been running flawlessly. I feel bad for the average customer that would not know how to handle this situation.

While Windows 7 has been greatly improved it still will have minor problems occasionally. Including the Windows registry. It seems they did nothing to solve that problem. However it still is a great improvement over the other operating systems. I would choose Windows 7 over any other Windows operating system.

I do recommend you get a good professional registry cleaner. Windows has not provide one so you will have to purchase one from a third party. The registry scanner/cleaners we recommend our on our main page. Any of these will work great with any Windows operating system, including Windows 7.

You can avoid future problems by keeping your registry optimized and clean. You may try installing older software that is not compatible with Windows 7. When doing so the software will make changes to the registry. You need to delete or repair these registry entries that try to reference software that is not there or not working properly.

Most people do not do this and this is where problems begin. The more corrupt or orphaned registry entries you have the slower your computer will become. In most cases this is why older computers become so slow. Not sure if you have a registry problem? Download one of the registry cleaners and run it. This will tell you how many errors you have. You can decide from there if you need to purchase the software or not. It is free to scan but you will have to buy the software to make repairs, it is a wise investment.

Windows Explorer Has Stopped Working - Fix It Yourself

Windows Explorer has stopped working and you are not sure why. Most of the time it is easily fixed. Following a few simple tips you should be able to fix your Windows Explorer problem your self. In almost all cases is a software problem and you will not have to run out and buy a new computer or take it to your local PC repair shop.

The easiest thing to do if your computer just started having this problem recently is to use your restore function. Go back a few days or pick a time before your Windows Explorer stopped working problem began. If you are lucky that solved the problem and you’re done. If you do not know how to find your restore feature, go to your start menu and select help and support. From there you should be able to find it.

If that did not think your problem and your Windows Explorer has stopped working problem is still there is more than likely a registry problem. Your Windows registry is the heart of your operating system. All your software needs to reference the registry. Including Windows Explorer. If your registry is corrupted, bloated, or has many bad entries you will have Windows Explorer problems.

You need to clean and repair your Windows registry. Since most computers do not come with a registry cleaner you will have to download one from a third party. We usually advise against using the free registry cleaners, as tempting as they may be. The fact is they do not do a complete job and some are so poorly written they will damage your computer make you problem even worse. Your problem right now maybe Windows Explorer has stopped working but if you delete or alter the wrong registry entry because of a cheap registry cleaner your computer may not be able to restart.

You’re much better investing in a good professional registry cleaner that you can trust. You will only have to pay a one-time fee for software and you will have it for the life of your computer. Plus you will get free updates for life and excellent tech support if you ever need them. Try and get a hold of someone that promotes free software, it will never happen.

Once you repair your registry your Windows Explorer has stopped working problem should disappear along with any other errors you have had in the past. The first time you run a scan on your registry you’ll be shocked at the moment errors will find and you will wonder how your computer was running at all. Not sure if you have registry errors? Download a program and run it. You will be able to see how many errors and bad entries you have that need attention. You will have to register the software before you correct them.

Other causes of the Windows Explorer has stopped working problem may be because of a virus or spyware running on your computer. So you will want to make sure you do a complete virus scan after updating your antivirus definitions and of course a complete spyware scan and cleaning. Performing these tasks may take the better part of an afternoon but your computer will be running like it did when it was new. All your lost performance and speed should be back again and your Windows Explorer should be working properly.
