Dear Sirs,

Can you please help me ?

I have an ACER PC with an optical mouse connected to a USB port. Unfortunately,
every so often, the mouse stops working. The light inside the mouse goes off and I cannot use the mouse to move the cursor. If I switch off the power to the computer, and then on again, the mouse is OK for a while.

Should I buy a new mouse or is there some other solution ?

Sincerely, Gwyn E Bowen

My IBM ThinkPad X41 takes 45 minutes , from the time I press the start button until the desktop appears. That's pretty slow. What do you recommend?
